Nanbanai partha Ninaithale Innikum Lyrics

Too good a song. Reminds me of the good old college days. A song that is an ode to the carefree life of college-goers. Annamalai’s lyrics on ‘Friendship’ are heart-touching. The best part is 'ulagathil pidithathu edhuvendru ennai kettal… en kallori vazhaikyai kattiduven... en adutha jenmathil ingey maramaven'. I liked this song so much, that I started listening to it and it never ended. Eagerly awaiting this movie. :)

I am a full time orkuteer and I keep a look at my friend's updates all the time. Today, straight away getting from bed I logged into my orkut and checked my friends' updates. Meera had added a video 'Beautifully Imperfect' as her favourite. The title spoke to me quite a bit with the irony of the two words.

'Beautifully Imperfect'

Don't know why but I’ve been wondering many times about the future person I'm gonna meet. THE person, if you know what I mean. Sometimes, I find myself thinking about that person (whoever that person is) a lil too much. I’m getting a wee bit impatient, but I’ll wait. Surely will. The choice is left to Him. He’ll decide who that person is and it’s in His Timing that it’ll happen.

Well I am not Mr. Perfect, am nowhere near to the word 'perfect' but this ad made me understand one thing, the little imperfections that make them perfect for you. This is the best ad I've seen so far. It also made me agnize one thing, the most important thing in Life, Family. I hope you guys like the ad, the same way I did. Insha Allah, I hope one day I find myself a life partner who would be beautifully imperfect to me. Amen. :)

Vaazhga Thamizh..

Vaazhga Thamizh means long live divine Tamil. I received a mail from one of my friends which had the subject 'Vaazhga Tamil'. I am a pukka Tamil, so without any deferment I opened the mail. I don't read forward mails but this mail engrossed me completely. On completion I was laughing boisterously. Read on, am sure you will enjoy it (especially the Tamils). :)

Beating the employment trap.

Bill Gates organized an enormous session to recruit a new Chairman for Microsoft Europe. 5000 candidates assembled in a large room. One candidate is our Ramasamy, pukka Tamil guy.

Bill Gates: Thank you for coming. Those who do not know JAVA may leave.

2000 people leave the room.

Ramasamy says to himself, 'I do not know JAVA, but I have nothing to lose if I stay. I'll give it a try !'

Bill Gates: Candidates who never had experience of managing more than 100 people may leave.

2000 people leave the room.

Ramasamy says to himself, 'I never managed anybody by myself, but I have nothing to lose if I stay. What can happen to me ?' So he stays.

Bill Gates: Candidates who do not have management diplomas may leave.

500 people leave the room.

Ramasamy says to himself, 'I left school at 15, but what have I got to lose ?' So he stays in the room.

Lastly, Bill Gates asked the candidates who do not speak Serbo-Croat to leave.

498 people leave the room.

Ramasamy says to himself, 'I do not speak one word of Serbo-Croat but what do I have to lose ?' So he stays and finds himself with one other candidate; Everyone else has gone.

Bill Gates joined them and said 'Apparently you are the only two candidates who speak Serbo-Croat, so I'd now like to hear you have a conversation together in that language.'

Calmly, Ramasamy turns to the other candidate and says 'endha ooru?'

The other candidate answers, 'Thoothukudi pakkam'

Tamizhan da. Tamizh Vaazhga. Long live divine Tamil.

Breezyblue turned one.. :)

Mingalaba readers. My blog turned one yesterday, 23rd August 2009. At this auspicious moment, I would like to thank my friends and fellow readers who kept encouraging me with gracious comments and which in turn inspired me with confidence to continue my blogging. When I look back, I feel great and elated. It is also heartening to see the number of visitors increasing day by day. Thanks to google. I came into this blogging world just to impress some people but now its different altogether. Each and every blog that I post here makes me really happy and that's the only reason why am still into this blog world and another reason, as my cousin Raja mentioned in his blog Happy Bday to my BLOG, It's indeed a groovy feeling when you come back and read about your past life. Old memories and the reminiscence makes you feel over the moon, no matter how depressing they were. I would request you guys to keep the feedback coming, as it provides me with valuable inputs. Happy B'day to my Breezyblue. Let peace prevail. :)
Tamil cinema has given a lot of beautiful songs to the world, almost all of them romantic numbers. But only once in a blue moon you get songs which are pictured on a sweet-flavored family. This song is one among them. A paean to Nature, again in simple words, but carried elegantly into musical form by the composers. Mellifluous lyrics and music offers invigorations of good feel amongst listeners. I just loved this song the first time I listened to it and I dedicate this one to my family.

Who said fun lies behind closed doors?

It is now 12am. I was gonna log off my pc and go to bed but I saw today's orkut fortune. It read "Share your happiness with others today". So right away I came in here. Today was one of the best days of my life. It was our second house warming ceremony. Actually we had constructed a new storey(we means not literally us. I meant the masons and of course the engineer) and my dad had organized a small biriyani party to all the laborers and my relatives. To be frank it wasn't small, two goats had sacrified their lives for today's lunch. They were immolated for the biriyani the cook prepared. It is a tradition in India that they boil milk early morning after the prayers and the people drink it as sacred milk and the event is called as "Paal Kaachiraanga" in tamil (Verbatim translation to english would be 'milk boiling' :P). Everyone were there when they were boiling the milk but I was busy singing a duet with Kutti pisasu Vedika. Don't panic guys. I was sleeping as usual and dreaming (People say morning dreams will come true. Somebody please tell me if that's true). It was 5am and that's midnight for me. I got up at 9 am and that was pretty early according to my modus operandi.

My mom brought the milk and asked me to drink it after saying "Bismillah" but there was one condition. I was supposed to brush my teeth. I got ready in about ten minutes and my kinsmen and kinswomen started coming in. It was fun all the way. I were a person who spend a lot of time for my friends but now I am changed man. Family comes first to me. I was surprised to see all my matrikins and patrikins coming to my home. The best thing was even those who don't talk to each other (this usually happens in Indian families. People fight with their relatives and they don't talk for years) met, talked , patched up and it was a pleasure to see that happen. There were small kids all over my house. Some call me fahad chachu, some fahad maamu, some fahad anna and some don't even know who I am (they are too young to recognize me :P). We meet all our relatives only in such events. I didn't knew before that spending time for family would be so much fun. Arranging the lunch, distributing the biriyani to family members, compelling them to eat more and most of all watching these things happen in swiftness gave me immense happiness. After lunch everyone sat and talked in circles. Two funniest things happened today. One was a debate about who is the best? Me or my dad. The older patrikins were in favour of my dad and the younger ones were on my side. The second one was about my marriage. Who is gonna find a bride for me? Where should she be from? Should she be urdu speaking or tamil speaking? These were the questions that were put forward to me. Lol. "I don't know. Whatever my mom says, that's okay to me" I replied politely.

Who said fun lies behind closed doors alone? Of course that's different kind of fun. Come out of the closed doors and spend sometime for your family, then you will know what actually fun means. :)

P.S:- I am also happy for some other reason. I got a testimonial from my long distant friend Ishika. She is the best friend anyone can have. And one thing made me sad today. I was missing my miyu darling in the function. If she were there, it would have been the best function in my family.

When someone provokes thy wrath..

I live in a residential colony and the information I have gathered so far is that I along with my roommates were the only bachelors residing in the colony. It's been a year and half since we slipped in to this colony. Getting a house in Chennai or any city for that matter is a not an easy task. The house we live in now belongs to my close mate Karthik Vasudevan who now lives in UK and only we knew how much we suffered getting that house. Eventhough Karthik and his mom were ready to let their house to us, the fellow humans living nearby disinclined. The only reason behind it was that we were BACHELORS. But Karthik's mom were in favour of us. So we relocated to this place and from that day on we never gave any disturbance to our fellow humans. We go to office, come back home, sleep and this was our daily routine.

There is this lady who sits in front of my house daily and gossips the whole crap that happens in our apartment with her fellow ladies from morning to night. I don't know how these ladies get time to gossip all the time. Her behaviour really gets to me since it disturbed my sleep during the day (after being home from night shifts). Last night, I took my friend to my room and when we crossed her, she murmured "Innoru gang varutha. Ethana pera thaan ivan kootittu varuvaan?" [Eng: Here comes another guy. How many guys will he bring home?]. I personally hate this thing. When someone mocks at other's feeling/possessions/habit. Her comment made me flew into a rage that I wanted to go back to her and show my middle finger to her but rather I just kept quiet and went inside my room. I have developed this habit of being carefree even if someone tends to offend me and I stay away from them but still they provoke my wrath.

"Ellathayum ezhanthavan etha venumnaalum seyvaan. Ethayum ezhakka koodathunnu thaan mathavan othungi poraan. Naan silara paakum bothu ellam velagi ponathukku kaaranam bayamo kutra unarvo illa. Enakku iruntha latchiyam, kanavu, kadamai. Ellarukkum appadi thaan. Poruppu irukkura ovoruthanum porumaiya thaan povaan." [Eng: People who had lost everything will do anything. People who don't want to lose anything will stay away from them. The reason for me staying away from these senseless people is not coz of fear or guilt. Its coz of my ambition, dream and responsibilities that I have in life. Its the same for everyone. A person who has responsibilities will always stay calm]

P.S:- Whenever I come across such people I ask this to myself. Why don't someone give me a bottle of scotch and a hand gun to blow their fucking head off!

Man trapped by Giselle Monteiro from Love Aaj Kal

For those who don't know me personally, I am not the guy who gets knocked out easily by a ravishing beauty. Though I accept the fact that I have admired a lot of women I have come across in my life (both physically and mentally) and not any celebrities. There were two exceptions, one being Vega Tamotia and the other was Kajal Agarwal. I watched Love Aaj Kal yesterday at Satyam, the funniest part is that I don't understand Hindi (I am trying all means to learn it like watching Hindi movies, listening in to my roomies' discourse in Hindi, fish some Hindi speaking thothas, etc etc..). Okay let me not digress from the topic "Man trapped by Giselle Monteiro". So as of yesterday there were only two celebrity lulus who enraptured me but now the count had become three. The latest being Brazilian model Giselle Monteiro from the movie Love Aaj Kal who played the role of Harleen Kaur.

The moment I saw her face for the first time on the screen, I slobbered over her in awe, my heart started to beat faster. Saif Ali Khan was lavishing affection on her on the screen and I was doting upon her sitting in the theater, watching her on the screen. I am quite sure, I evinced deep, tender, ineffable feeling of affection and solicitude towards her than Saif Ali Khan did on the screen. During Ajj Din Chadeya song, I got completely man trapped by her beauty that I couldn't see her anymore. Something like this. The most precious things in Life can't be seen with the naked eyes. You have to look within. Its because of the sensation you get. Its out-of-this-world so you probably have to shut your eyes from this world to savor the moment in its entirety. Masha Allah. She was drop dead gorgeous and for the first time, I kept a celebrity picture as my wallpaper in my mobile and it was Giselle Monteiro. :)

Update: Actually the count is four. I missed kutti pisasu Vedika in the list. ;). The most shocking news is this. When someone searches for 'Giselle Monteiro Naked' in google, my blog link shows up as the first result. :(

The new look to the breezyblues

Nearly a year after entering the blogger's world, I have changed my blog template. Change is the new law and is happiness. So I wanted to experience some change. Thanks to Raja for the inspiration. It took me a day and half to experiment with the xml code. It was really tiresome. Being a software professional, to be frank this was the first time I was experimenting with codes and am glad that I did a good job. Just a new flavor to my blog. Hope you guys like it. Its Evidens white template and I liked it the moment I saw it. I wanted the template to be professional looking and am glad I changed it to Evidens White. So here's the new look. :)

The shock of one's life..

I logged into orkut after nearly three days and got the shock of my life. Guess what? I got ten new friend requests. All from guys and that's what pissed me off. Damn it. I knew none of them personally but still they have added me as a friend. Or is it just a sign that am becoming far-famed? Lolz. Blessed is he who expects nothing, for he shall never be disappointed.
